HJS has continuously invested to secure and expand its own exclusive container
terminals at major ports around the world. Subsequent to establishing its
first dedicated terminal in Seattle in 1986, HJS has further expanded with
exclusive terminals at Long Beach(1991), Osaka(1992) and Tokyo(1994).
1998 was a pivotal point in HJS exclusive terminal history. HJS opened four
exclusive terminals; Pusan(Gamcheon, Gamman) and Gwangyang in Korea and
Kaohsiung in Taiwan.
And in order to accommodate continuously increasing cargo volume, HJS opened
Oakland terminal in 2001 and relocated Long Beach terminal to 375 acres in
2002.
HJS's most recent additions to its expansive network of terminals include
Pyeongtaek(2005) and Antwerp(2006).
