ISM CODE( International Safety Management Code )
The International Safety Management Code (ISM Code) certificate is issued to both the ship and business with safety & quality management systems that are found to assure safe ship operation and pollution prevention. This is guaranteed by the ISM Code adopted by the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
A. DOC ( Document of Compliance ) - Korea

The DOC is issued to companies who meet the requirements
of the ISM Code by each flag nation government. The scope
of certification depends on the ship's flag nation and the
ship's type.

B. SMC ( Safety Management Certificate )
Safety Management Certificates are issued to vessels following
successful audits of their shipboard safety management
systems. That means the ship is adequate for safe operation,
meets environment protection criteria and complies with the
ISM Code.
Hanjin Shipping has been in compliance in full with the ISM
Code as a company as well as for all of it's vessels since 1994
and subject to annual verification.
The International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS Code) is a comprehensive set of measures to enhance the security of ships and port facilities, developed in response to the perceived threats to ships and port facilities in the wake of the 9/11 attacks in the United States. The ISPS Code applies to ships on international voyages and the port facilities serving such ships.

As an international standard for quality system accreditation, registration and self declare instituted by the International Organization for Standardization, The ISO 9001 specifies requirements for a quality management system for any organization that needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable regulatory requirements and aims to enhance customer satisfaction.
As an international standard for environmental system accreditation instituted by the International Standardization Organization, The ISO 14001 is a system, which defines the requirement of environmental management systems. It serves to set up environmental policy and objectives by considering legal requirement and significant environment impacts.

This Occupational Health and Safety Assessment System (OHSAS) specifies requirements for an OH&S management system, to enable an organization to control its OH&S risks and improve its performance. This OHSAS specification is applicable to any organization that wishes to a)establish an OH&S management system to eliminate or minimize risk to employees and other interested parties who may be expose to OH&S risks associated with its activities b)implement, maintain and continually improve an OH&S management system

IMPCAS(International Marine Packed Cargo Audit Scheme) ATTESTATION is issued when the requirements of IMPCAS is regarded satisfied, with reliable inspection schemes of marine transportation of dangerous cargos carried by shipping companies and ships, held by CDI(Chemical Distribution Institute).
